Manchester City returned to the summit of the league after their 3-1 win over Wolves. Wolves goalie Wayne Hennessey made some world class saves to keep it 0-0 at half time. But in the second half he gifted Dzeko to score his 9th goal of the season. Kolorov then scored in the 66th minute to give City a 2-0 lead. But a penalty for Wolves and a red card from the captain Vincent Kompany gave a lifeline for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Stephen Hunt easily converted the penalty.
