Manchester City 3-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Manchester City returned to the summit of the league after their 3-1 win over Wolves. Wolves goalie Wayne Hennessey made some world class saves to keep it 0-0 at half time. But in the second half he gifted Dzeko to score his 9th goal of the season. Kolorov then scored in the 66th minute to give City a 2-0 lead. But a penalty for Wolves and a red card from the captain Vincent Kompany gave a lifeline for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Stephen Hunt easily converted the penalty. But a 90th minute goal from Adam Johnson ensured the win for The Citizens.

Manchester United return to winning ways at Goodison Park after their shock defeat to Manchester City last weekend. Javier ''Chicharito'' Hernandez scored in the 18th minute with an easy finish to Patrice Evra's cross. Rooney got a unhappy return to Goodison as every time he got a touch to the ball, he was boo'd.

Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal

One of the most extraordinary Premier matches you will ever see came at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea entertained Arsenal. Chelsea had lost 1-0 to QPR last week, the question was if they could lose to their other London rivals! Goals from Chelsea's Frank Lampard and John Terry and Arsenal's Robin Van Persie gave Chelsea a 2-1 lead. 3 minutes after the second half restarted, the new left back André Santos scored. Walcott then found the net a few minutes later. A 80th minute goal from Juan Mata gave The Blues a lifeline of winning. But two late goals from the one and only Robin Van Persie ensured his hat-trick and the win for Arsenal

QPR 1-0 Chelsea

One of the biggest upsets of the year so far was at Loftus Road where Chelsea were beaten by their fierce rivals Queens Park Rangers!! A Heidar Helguson penalty in the first half gave the Hoops a 1-0 lead. Chances from Anelka and a sitter from Frank Lampard put QPR under pressure, but in the end the Blues could not find the goal

Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City

Can you believe this scoreline? Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City!!!! Man Utd were not beaten, they were embarrassed. Every City fan said they were going to be better than their winning streak neighbours and they proved it. Goals from Ballotelli(2), Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Edin Dzeko (2) won the derby for City.

Arsenal 3-1 Stoke

Arsenal moved up to 7th yesterday with their 3-1 win over Stoke. Goals from Gervinho and Van Persie(2). Van Persie's second goal was the 200th league goal at the Emirates Stadium. Gervinho scored in the 27th minute, then seven minutes later Peter Crouch scored against his old North London rivals with an impressive free kick from Stoke. 2 goals from Van The Man lifted the Gunners up to 7th.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-2 Swansea

Wolves came back from 2-0 down at half time to 2-2. Goals from Danny Graham and Joe Allen for Swansea in the first half settled the game (or so everyone thought!!!) Two goals in two minutes for Wolves in the second half from Kevin Doyle and Jamie O'Hara ensured the comeback. Mick McCarthy will be a happy man.

Bolton Wanderers 0-2 Sunderland A.F.C.

Bolton have once again lost at home. This time against Sunderland. Late goals from Sességnon and Bendtner ensured a win to bring Sunderland up to 12th and Bolton down to 18th!!!!!!

Trailing to Craig Bellamy's goal in the first half. Norwich City equalized with Holt scoring a powerful header from Anthony Pilkington's cross. Olympique de Marseille 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal went top last night when a late strike from Aaron Ramsey sealed the victory for Arsenal. Marseille were leading the group before the game by tow points! Chances from Walcott and Van Persie throughout the game made the fans wonder would it be one of those nights. But in 90+2 minute Aaron Ramsey scored the winner!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manchester City 2-1 Villarreal CF

Manchester City move closer to the knockout draw of the Champions League after their win against Villarreal. Cani opened for the visitors after just 4 minutes! A Marchena og equalized for Man City just before half time. Then with 3 minutes added on Sergio 'Kun' Aguero scored in the 2nd minute and 55 second to give the City the lead.

Republic of Ireland 2-1 Armenia

One of Ireland's poorest matches ever has resulted them with a place in the play - off in Euro 2012!!!
In the 42nd minute Aleksanyan scored a lucky own goal, followed by a second by Richard Dunne (his first international goal since 2009!!!) Then the visitors had a lifeline when Mkhitaryan beat Shay Given with an accurare shot.

Everton 0-2 Liverpool

Everton lost the first Merseyside derby this season as they lost 2-0 to local rivals Liverpool. The controversy started when Jack Rodwell was sent off early on. He clearly got the ball, but Suarez made a meal out of it and costed Rodwell the red card. Liverpool made the breakthrough after superb work from Dirk Kuyt to help Andy Carroll to score his first in 10. It was game over a few minutes later when Suarez made use of Distin's  mistake and scored very calmly.

Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal

Arsenal lost the first North London derby this season yesterday at White Hart Lane. Rafael Van Der Vaart scored the first goal, followed by an  equalizer from Aaron Ramsey early in the second half. The winner came from Kyle Naughton in the 73rd minute from long - distance!!!! Celebrations occured that night in Tottenham.
